Laser projectors use a Laser Light Source and not the traditional lamps found is most older projectors. This gives Laser Projectors a few benefits.
- Lifespan
Laser projectors do not ever need bulb replacements. The laser light source has an incredibly long life cycle and this means your projector will likely be way overdue for an upgrade before the light source dies. Many laser projectors offer in excess of 20,000 hours of usage time. This means your projector can possibly last for up to 10 years (if used for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, 50 weeks a year). - Cost of Ownership
Since laser projectors never need lamp replacements, maintenance is far less costly, with only routine maintenance required. Ongoing lamp replacement costs are avoided. - Image Quality
Laser projectors offer superior image sharpness and colour rendition. Images are richer, text is clearer and spreadsheets are easier to read. - Brightness
Though overall brightness varies depending on the projector model selected, laser projectors are able to provide consistent brightness across the screen surface. - Instant On & Off
Laser Projectors switch on and off instantly and generally have no cooling off requirement. - Lower Energy Consumption
Laser Projectors consume less energy than bulb based projectors of equivalent brightness. This has clear benefits in facilities with multiple projectors, but also has benefits when placing IT equipment on backup power – placing a smaller load on UPS’s.
Laser Projectors are our preferred projection technology and should be considered for any new projector deployment. They’re suitable for use in Schools, Boardrooms, Lecture Rooms, Auditoriums, Education Facilities, Houses of Worship and any other venue.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
